The principles and the goals of the season points and the clans’ points

  1. THE BASIC OF THE SEASON POINTS (INDIVIDUAL)


  • Your own APP (Answer Power Point)

We take into account the global APP because some players started to trick to keep their average APP in a very low level. So in this way we can avoid these situations (for example when the player after missing the first question in the game left the game or didn’t answer any more questions.)


  • In-game APP

In the Alliance only your APP counts

In the Short and in the Long game your opponents’ APP also counts

The in-game APP shows the players’ in game performance and also the difficulty of the game. So for example in the short game it makes no sense to not answer the questions (to help the other player to win the game) because it will impair the value of the winning.


  • The collected game points during the game

The collected game points also affect the season point of the game.

As in the Alliance two of you collect the points that’s why collecting higher game points is the expectation.

In the other game modes to avoid the unnecessary aggressive games to get the max. points we don’t want to give extra motivation on the castle attacks. And the players collect alone the points during these kinds of games that’s why the expected game point is less.


  • The level of your character / soldier

The actual level of your soldier counts to avoid getting renicks on the top of the rank lists.

That’s why the level ups are important because one level difference means more hundreds points per a week.

That's why you get less Season Point in the first week of the Season, and more in the end of the Season. (In the beginning of the Season your soldier is on level "Emerald Champion", but in the end of the Season you can be on level "Master Warrior".)


  • The results of your previous games (season points)

Our goal is to motivate the players to try to reach the best results / season points in each game mode in the ranked game type. Don't make it worth to trick. 


  1. WHY DO NOT WE PUBLISH THE EXACT POINT CALCULATION?


There are more reasons for this. 

The first that the exact values are not set in stone. If we see that any of the principals listed above is hurt, then we will change the values of the four components.

The other reason is that we’d like to make things harder for those who would like to find the loopholes in our system. 

The third reason is that several times other companies have tried to copy our game and we don’t want to make things easier for them by publishing our algorithms. 



  1. WHY DO NOT WE COUNT SEPARATELY THE GAME MODES’ SEASON POINTS?

 

We don’t want to force anybody to play in just one game mode.

If we separate the season points by game modes then the season points should be exchanged (with season point saver boosters) by game modes.

It would multiply the need of the season point saver boosters. And it would be very confusing in which game mode where you are at with the saving boosters.


  1. DETAILED EXPLANATION OF THE INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION


  • With a relatively small amount of “play time” per a day to be able to stay competitive, and to be able to complete the daily, weekly and season goals


To reach the 7 stars/day an average player needs 7-8 games, it can be 0,5-1 hour/day (depends on the game mode).

Only the first 7 games count into the season points every day. It means the game time above mentioned is enough in terms of the season.

But of course who has a more ambitious plan (s)he can find more challenges after the first 7 games.


  • All free gifts are given equally to everyone who completes the season’s levels, regardless of his/her ranking on the rank lists


Regardless of the ranking everybody gets 9000 gold if (s)he reaches the 7 stars.

Also regardless of your ranking on the season rank list you’ll get the same amount of gifts if you level up as the leader of the rank list.


  •  Do not have too much advantage for someone who plays a lot


On one hand we limited the game number that counts in terms of the rank list. On the other hand we will introduce a daily games limit / game modes because due to the quasi unlimited number of games to collect outstanding scores with the help of the boosters.


  • Do not have too much advantage for someone who purchases gold


We give away more gold and boosters than previously in every season. And only those can get better places on the rank list who will reach high season points in a game.



  • To make no sense to spoil your APP


As the APP counts in the season point there’s no point to keep it at a low level. (If you APP is lower you’ll get less season points.)


  • To make no sense to play with a renick with a lower APP level to discourage the beginner/weaker players from playing Triviador


On one hand you’ll get less season points if you have weaker opponents (Short and Long game). On the other hand the lower level players means lower season points.

So your only chance to be at your own real level and play against other players on your level.


  • No one has too much advantage or too much disadvantage because (s)he plays only one kind of game mode


Though there are differences between the game modes in case of  how easily you can get stars or season points our goal is to ensure that neither game mode has an advantage over the others in every way.

According to the recent statistics data the 75% of the players who are above 9000 season points get 7 stars against the Lord Evil (in Alliance game mode), but they get less season points in average as in the other game modes.

But in the Alliance game mode the number of the 2 stars games are double as much as in the other game modes.


  • No one has too much advantage or too much disadvantage because (s)he plays all the game modes


If someone likes to play all the game modes (s)he can do it without having significant advantage or disadvantage. 

This can also help to avoid burnout as you can make your gaming experience more varied. 


  1. DETAILED EXPLANATION - CLANS


  • The active clans with many members do not suffer “financial” disadvantage to other also active clans with stronger members 


Any clans with 50 members will be able to collect the maximum amount of gold.


  • The competition between the clans can not be decided by few top players alone, teamwork should be required


In the first round in this new version we had the clan rank list based on the gold. Unfortunately it wasn’t successful because more and more clans reached the max. gold per a week. 

One of the disadvantages of this situation was that there wasn’t real competition between the clans, there were a lot of clans on the rank list with the same points (gold).

The other disadvantage was that if one of the clan members left the clan during the week then the competition for this clan was over that week.

That’s why we changed the clan rank list, now it’s based on the season points of the clans. We think it’s a fair solution. There are differences in the clans but the midfield is also active and they are only 20-30% behind the leader clans.

The basics of the clan reward is still the gold collected by the clan members. So any active clans can collect the same amount of gold for the clan treasury as the leader clans.



  • It is way more better to invite and keep in the clan slightly weaker players than renicks


There was another reason to change the basics of the clan rank list. Who has more time to play does not bring in a renick but try to achieve better and better season points on his/her main account.

A top player performance and a weaker player performance together can be competitive with two renicks performances.
